Climb Mount Tamalpais for a Bird’s Eye View of Marin County

If you are driving through San Francisco or across the Golden Gate Bridge, and you see a tall mountain to the north, you are seeing the most southern tall peak of California’s North Coast and the highest point in Marin County. Mount Tamalpais, with its spectacular views, redwood and oak groves, climbs up to an elevation of 2,571 feet.
